Sometimes disputes arise among beneficiaries in an estate. There are some steps you can take to avoid prevent difficult children from complicating or impeding the settlement your estate. You can add to your will such as “If you refuse to sign a waiver then your bequest in invalid” and “If you don’t cooperate then your bequest is invalid.”
Sometimes you may need to add some additional more restrictive language in your will.
